No extra towels for the algae thick walled pool that we tried to swim in,
I would like to thank the staff at Motel 6 in Abbeville. They were very warm, friendly and very accommodating. Assure that I will bring returning.
The employees were wonderful, but oh was the room Musty Moldy yuck!
We had a room with a partial kitchen, there were know pots,, no nothing. and you couldn't use the cabinets because the smelled so bad. they need to remodel.
The staff was very polite. The room was clean and nice overall but it did have a musty smell. The bathroom was decent but small. There was only bar soap in my room, no coffee pot, and the wifi is terrible. I did have a fridge, microwave and an iron with ironing board. The bed was stiff, i guess thats ok if you like a stiff bed. It seems as though there is a bunch of negatives but keep in mind it was $55 said and done for a double, so bring some soap and shampoo and make plans for breakfast at a restaurant!
Awesome service, clean room, plentiful amenities and accommodations. The location is absolutely ideal, as Veteran's Memorial Dr. is peppered with restaurants and shops of various kinds. Motel 6 also has the best rates in town, for this level of quality and service. This was my 3rd stay of many more to come.
But what really got me, was I had read on line, Continental breakfast. HAHA!! nope. only Coffee for a few hours. Never again in a motel 6.
Being that it is a small town I expected the room to not be perfect. My expectations for the motel 6 in Abbeville Louisiana was not high.
No shampoo, no conditioner, we had to go and by it all for our 9 day stay.
But thank you very much house keeping!
What I didn't like is the comforter had cigarette holes and one blood stain.
The hotel was located in Abbeville Louisiana which is where my family lives. It's wonderful that there is a hotel in the small town.
