This place has some of the most ghetto classless employees I have ever met!!!
Me and my boss used to run this store some years ago and, WOW HOW TIMES CHANGES
When I first moved here this was the best store ever. Then over the years it has gone to crap. The employees have decided they need 1 hour to sit on the curb between 2:00 and 3:00 am or at the table and watch as customers drive up and out because they close the store for an hour to sit on their asses. Now, the Shop Rite down the road, they don't even close to transition from one "day to the next". Maybe 5 minutes at the most. Valero needs to take 24 hours a day off their window with those two gems they have working at night right now. They are rude as well. One girl had a obvious skin disease that couldn't be helped one day when my husband went in. She should not have been at work that day because she needed medical help immediately. Another employee wouldn't pull the plastic case off the lottery tickets to assist a customer who wanted to buy a lottery ticket, the tickets were simply stuck, but she didn't make the sale because it would have taken a minute to get them unstuck. When there's a line during the day one employee will walk to the back and leave the other to do it all. It is a mess there. I really hope they can get this under control, they've lost my night./early morning business because of the women who work there even when they happen to be open (and really, I've been up there at 1:00 am 2:00 am and 3:00 am because of leaving for my job at different times, and they've had the doors locked and you can see them sitting at the tables in the front of the store or on the curb outside.. so it doesn't matter when you actually go, they've got it closed down claiming they are swapping over and mopping for the next day). I'll go to the Shop Rite from now on, but it was nice having the Valero to go to when it was just a block down the street.
No customer service skills PERIOD. have absolutely no work or outside home ettiquette! They have stragglers hanging out side smoking cigarettes drinking beer you can not even pump gas with out people coming up to wanting a dollar or having your children exposed to loud cursing music and people fighting in the parking lot behind some ones cheating spouse this is a joke of a store! They better thank God company's hold the Valero gas cards the gas is what keeps this store a float now .
