I went to ask for help regarding completing a small claims court form. The form was convoluted and confusing, with no instructions on how to complete it. After asking for help at one desk, I was told that they could not give me any advice on how to complete the form. I began to explain to her that the form was confusing, and I just needed to know what sections I needed to fill-out. She told me that she cannot give me legal advice and pointed me to another department. When I got there, the lady again told me she could not offer any legal advice. I again proceeded to explain that I'm not asking for legal advice, I just need to know how to complete the form to ensure it gets processed (I also had to send a $200 application fee with the form, so I wanted to ensure there were no errors). By this time, I had completely lost faith in the system, and had to completely reconsider whether or not I wanted to put my faith and trust in such an institution regarding a small claims lawsuit. To this day, that experience prohibits me from moving forward. Customer service, non existent!
